4 rooms · Penthouse in Neve Tzedek

One of the earliest neighborhoods outside Jaffa, Neve Tzedek has a long connection with writers and artists, including S. Y. Agnon and Nachum Gutman.

The neighborhood in daily life

Low houses and narrow lanes give the neighborhood a different scale from the tower districts. The Suzanne Dellal dance center and Nahum Gutman Museum are useful cultural anchors; the former railway compound connects its story to the old Jaffa–Jerusalem line.

What to check at a viewing

In an older home, inspect natural light, ventilation and stairs rather than relying on renovation photos. Ask where the protected space is and whether parking is attached to the apartment. A new tower apartment nearby can have a very different maintenance bill.
